Refine Your Marketing Strategy with Easy Post Edits and Duplications

Updated over 2 months ago

Managing your posts efficiently on Scalelup involves knowing how to both edit and duplicate them. This allows you to refine your marketing strategy and better track engagement metrics.

Editing a Post

To edit a post, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Posts: Click on the "Posts" option in the main menu to access your list of posts.

  2. Select the Post: Click the Pencil Icon next to the post you wish to edit.

  3. Edit the Post: You will be taken to the same form used to create the post. Here, you can change all the parameters including text, image, image link, country targeting, and the post name.

Important: If you change the text, image, or image link, the post will be temporarily paused and submitted for review by the Scalelup team. This ensures that all content remains compliant with platform guidelines before becoming active again.

After making your edits, click the "Submit" button to finalize the changes.

  • Tip: Rather than making significant changes to an existing post, consider creating a new post and pausing the old one. This approach allows you to track the performance of each version separately and determine which texts and images are most effective. You can utilize the post duplication feature to streamline this process.

Duplicating a Post

To duplicate a post, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Post to Duplicate: In the post list, click the Copy Icon next to the post you wish to duplicate.

  2. Make Edits: You'll be taken to the post editing form, where you can modify the post just as you would during a normal edit.

  3. Submit the New Post: After making your changes, submit the form. The original post will remain unchanged, and a new post will be created alongside it.

By duplicating posts, you can experiment with different content strategies without losing the original post data, allowing for better performance analysis and optimization. This method helps in identifying which content variations draw the most attention and engagement from your audience.
