How to Create a Lead Capture Landing Page

A step-by-step guide to building your first professional landing page and collecting leads with ease

Creating a lead capture landing page on Scalelup is quick and user-friendly, even if you have no technical background. Follow the steps below to set up your own professional landing page and start collecting valuable contacts for your business.

Step 1: Access the Landing Pages Section

  • Log in to your Scalelup account.

  • Click on "Landing Pages" in the main menu.

  • You will be redirected to the Marketing Tools page.

  • Click the "Open Landing Pages" button to view your existing landing pages or start a new one.

Step 2: Start Creating a New Landing Page

  • Click the "Create New Page" button.

  • Browse the available templates, organized into different categories to fit various business needs and styles.

  • When you find a template you like, click the yellow arrow icon to preview it.

Step 3: Customize Your Landing Page

  • In the preview window, click "Customize This Page".

  • The page will be duplicated into your personal collection and opened in the editor.

  • Use the top menu to personalize your landing page:

    • Background: Upload or remove a background image, if supported by your template.

    • Images: Replace sample images with your own by clicking the yellow pencil icon on each image.

    • Style: Rotate between different page styles for a look that matches your brand.

    • Colors: Change the color scheme to fit your preferences or brand identity.

    • Text: Click the "Text" button, then select any highlighted text area to edit it. You can add your own content and even include emoticons to make your page more engaging.

  • You can hide the top editing menu at any time by clicking Hide to preview your page as visitors will see it. Click the icon in the top right corner to display the menu again.

Step 4: Save and Connect a Mailing List

  • Once you’re satisfied with your customizations, click "Save".

  • The page will now appear in your list of landing pages.

  • Each landing page must be connected to a Mailing List where your new leads will be stored.

    • If you don’t have a mailing list yet, Scalelup will create one automatically.

    • To ensure your landing page works, you’ll need to complete the required information for your mailing list (such as your name and address). These are necessary for legal compliance (GDPR, anti-spam laws).

Step 5: Configure Additional Options (Optional)

  • Redirect Link:
    Set the URL where visitors are redirected after submitting the form and verifying their email. By default, this is set to your Scalelup referral link, but it can be changed if you are a paid Ad plan subscriber.

  • Change Mailing List:
    If needed, you can attach a different mailing list to your landing page by clicking the "Change" List button.

Step 6: Publish and Share Your Landing Page

  • Each landing page has a unique Landing Page URL.

  • Share this link with your audience via social media, email, ads, or anywhere you want to collect leads.

  • Direct your marketing traffic to this URL and start building your mailing list.
